The problem

During the reconstruction of a new production plant, Vin & Sprit in Åhus, it was discovered that the surface water pipes had too small a capacity to receive water from the new industrial area. To solve the problem and level out the flow, two surface water magazines made of concrete were built. To ensure an exact and constant flow from the magazines and to eliminate the risk of pipe overflows or flooding, two WaReg flow regulators were installed in the outlets from the magazines.

Solution

WaReg® Flow Regulator

In this project, two WaReg flow regulators were delivered, one preadjusted to a flow rate of 25 l/s and the other to 75 l/s. This ensured that the flow from the magazines was exact and constant, and that the risk of pipe overflows or flooding was eliminated. The result was a highly efficient and reliable water management system that met the needs of the new production plant and ensured a consistent and sustainable water supply.
