Family avoids unpleasant surprise
The family's house is located along Sköldvägen in Järfälla and is located in a depression adjacent to the lowest point of the street. During heavy rainfall or snowmelt, a lot of water collects here, as the amount simply overloads the networks that are tasked with carrying the water away.
This can have disastrous consequences for the houses that are located at the lowest, as the water can penetrate the houses through the houses' own sewage networks due to the increased pressure.
It is difficult to shy away from the consequences of a residential building flooded with sewage and we can even imagine the smell, even though it is the last thing we want.
The solution
The solution to give this family peace of mind was a WaBack DN110 installed in an Access well. The well was placed just inside the family's property line. The Access well makes accessing and inspecting the WaBack module very easy.
It was scenarios like this that the founder of Wapro, Mats Persson, had in mind when he invented the WaBack check valve - to create a solution that gave homeowners peace of mind. WaBack is intended for use in heavily polluted water and can therefore be used in both sewage and stormwater systems. WaBack has a completely open flow area to prevent blockages. In the event of backflow, WaBack closes again and becomes completely tight.
The family is now completely protected from backflow and flooding and can sleep well both at home and away.
Area of use
Residential
You should never have to come home to a basement that is under water, or have to put up with odours from your drainage pipes. We offer solutions that are specially adapted to stop backflow, prevent flooding, stop pests in the drains and ensure that unpleasant smells from the drains do not enter the home.
