WaStop Access Large DN315 for Tofta

A pumping station in Tofta previously had a manually controlled overflow valve. Here, you had to go out and check the valve manually at certain intervals to ensure that no backflow had occurred. This could not always be done and it caused several basement floods. To protect the pumping station against backflow, avoid flooding and to avoid having to operate it manually, there was a need to replace the valve.

The solution

Due to its reliability and the working environment, as there is no need to go down into the well, Wapro's new WaStop Access DN315 Large, DN1000 was chosen.

The installation was quick and easy and there is no longer any concern about backflow causing flooding. Residents in nearby homes are now confident that their basements are protected from flooding.
