Wastop installed in the Port of Åhus

The Port of Åhus is required to take samples of stormwater they discharge into the Baltic Sea. When the sea is high, salt water enters their pipe network and the samples become misleading.

The solution

WaStop DN300 mounted on the outgoing line in the well. If the seawater rises, it only reaches the WaStop and stops there. This makes it easy to take samples from this well, as the seawater stays downstream of the WaStop check valve.
