In land-based fish farms and RAS facilities, controlling water flow is an important part of safe and efficient operation. Water needs to be reliably directed, regulated and shut off when required to ensure that the different parts of the facility work together effectively.

Wapro provides flow control solutions for aquaculture, developed through practical experience with fish farms and RAS facilities. FlowGuide 3-Way Valves, WaFlap Flap Valves and WaGate Sluice Gates enable water flows to be directed and controlled according to the needs of the facility.     WaGate & WaStop protect Ystad Port

    The solution was a combination of our WaGate SPM-P-TG DN1500 which was mounted on the outgoing pipe, and WaStop DN1200 and DN500 which were placed on the inlet pipe. The WaGate closes in the event of a breakdown and/or accident and ensures that pollutants in the storm water do not flow into the sea. The WaStop was mounted on the inlets in the chamber, to prevent seawater from pushing up into the pipe network at high tide. Without our WaStops, the seawater would have caused flooding in buildings around the area. We are pleased that we were given the opportunity to protect Ystad Port against water pollution and flooding.
